Inquiry into the Counter-Terrorism Legislation Amendment Bill (No.1) 2015

On 12 November 2015, the Attorney-General, Senator the Hon George Brandis QC, asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the Counter-Terrorism Legislation Amendment Bill (No.1) 2015.

The Bill was introduced in the Senate on 12 November 2015 and follows the National Security Legislation Amendment Act (No.1) 2014, Counter-Terrorism  Legislation Amendment (Foreign Fighters) Act 2014, the Counter-Terrorism Legislation Amendment Act (No.1) 2014 and the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Amendment (Data Retention) Act 2014.

The Committee tabled its report on 15 February 2016.
