Inquiry into the human rights issues confronting women and girls in the Indian Ocean – Asia Pacific region

On 28 February 2014 the Minister for Foreign Affairs, The Hon Julie Bishop MP, asked the Committee to inquire into and report on The human rights issues confronting women and girls in the Indian Ocean – Asia Pacific region.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing the terms of reference by Thursday, 22 May 2014. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.

In order to facilitate electronic publishing of submissions, the Committee would prefer them to be emailed to jscfadt@aph.gov.au in Microsoft Word^® or Portable Document Format (PDF).
