The successful applicant will have primary responsibility for co-ordinating and managing various joint parliamentary information technology (IT) projects on behalf of the Departments of the House of Representatives and the Senate, including the need to liaise with the Department of Parliamentary Services for the provision of back office support. The position incorporates a project management and business analysis focus. Whilst the projects will vary, the current projects are the bookings system project and the committee systems project.

Research Officers
Parliamentary Service Level 4

Senior Research Officers
Parliamentary Service Level 6
($73,362 – $83,259)

Inquiry Secretaries
Executive Band 1
($91,032 – $101,538)

The duration of vacancies may range from a week to several months. Vacancies that are available for a period of longer than 12 months are advertised and a merit selection process is conducted. It is not possible to indicate when these vacancies may arise.
